Our Niagara winery team is the heart of Westcott Vineyards: a group of dedicated professionals who bring a shared vision to life through craftsmanship, care, and connection. From the founders who made the leap from city life to vineyard living, to the winemakers and hosts shaping every guest experience, each member of our team brings a unique blend of expertise, passion, and pride to their role.

Carolyn Hurst
President & Co-Founder
With a background as a senior executive in the tech industry, Carolyn brings both strategic leadership and entrepreneurial energy to Westcott Vineyards. She previously served as President of Why Interactive Inc., ITC Corp., and Effingham Technology Management Inc., all of which exceeded their business goals under her direction.
Carolyn also has deep roots in hospitality, having worked in Toronto’s restaurant industry early in her career. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, she’s been guiding Westcott’s growth since she and Grant moved to Niagara in 2008.
Grant Westcott
Director of Operations & Co-Founder
Grant brings decades of executive leadership experience to Westcott’s day-to-day operations. He served in senior roles across public service, banking, and consulting, including as Associate Deputy Minister in the Canadian government and as Executive Vice President in the financial sector.
A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MSc, Management), Grant is a steady hand in operations and logistics, and a proud steward of the land he and Carolyn now call home.
Casey Kulczyk
Winemaker
Casey is a Niagara College graduate and a fast-rising talent in Canadian winemaking. With a deep connection to cool-climate varietals, especially Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, he brings both creativity and technical precision to his craft.
His focus is on wines that reflect the character of Niagara’s best vineyards, using minimal intervention and a commitment to expressing place. Casey joined Westcott in 2018 as head winemaker and continues to shape the winery’s still and sparkling programs.
Casey loves watching Formula One while sipping Brilliant Sparkling Brut that he's personally hand-riddled and labeled. Go Ricciardo!
Garett Westcott
Vineyard Manager & Assistant Winemaker
Garett grew up sitting on his dad’s lap on the tractor on the family farm and is now driving his own tractors as the Vineyard Manager & Assistant Winemaker. Garett plays a key role in the hands-on care of the vines and the character of the wines that result. He works closely with Casey and the vineyard team to ensure that Westcott’s small-lot wines begin with healthy, expressive fruit.
Outside of the vineyard, Garett is a musician and an avid reader with a keen interest in science, history, and current affairs. His favorite vintage? The Estate Pinot Noir 2013. #WeTheNorth
Jessica Ramage
Sales & Hospitality Manager
Jessica blends a background in business with a deep passion for wine. After earning her MBA, she pursued formal wine education—earning WSET Level 3 certification, becoming a French Wine Scholar, and even completing a harvest in New Zealand.She now leads sales and hospitality at Westcott, ensuring that every visitor, club member, and partner experiences the warmth, quality, and personal touch that define the brand. Her current favorite? The Blanc de Blancs Traditional Method Sparkling! Cheers!
