"91 Points. Just for months onward and still the upright, linear and intelligible prominence for dry, traditional method sparkling wine. Gingery now, autolytic and maturing which tells us this is the same disgorgement as was tasted back in July. Drink 2024-2026. Last tasted Nov 2024. As with the Blanc de Blancs, the pick is done at a minimum 19 brix and lees aging is 30 months. Memory goes back to July when Winemaker Casey Kulczyk explained how chardonnay is always picked at a minimum 19 brix to influence and extend flavours, but also to exaggerate texture. The Brilliant Blanc de Blancs ages for 30 months on lees and this 2021 comes from a vintage with many highs and lows to be expressed with many complexities, if less consistency that the non-vintage iteration of this wine. 4 stars."
