At Westcott we produce Chardonnay from our two vineyards, the Home Farm, where the winery building stands, and Butlers' Grant Vineyard. While the vineyards are less than six kilometres apart, they are located in different appellations, and the wines from each are unique expressions of Chardonnay, proof of the singular importance of terroir in the creation of great wine.
In these sessions, we will taste finished wine and barrel samples from each vineyard over three years. Our discussion will focus on how vine age, soil composition, vineyard slope, hours of sunlight, and proximity to Lake Ontario all play a significant role in what ends up in the glass.
$50 per person. $45 for club members
