"What a lovely surprise as Westcott makes one of its first chardonnays from estate fruit up on Vinemount Ridge. It displays a rich nose of peat smoke, vanilla cream, lemon, baked apple and spice. Very rich and elegent, creamy yet fine boned and cohesive. Wow and huge surprise. Focused with excelent to outstanding length. A bit youthful so age it another year for more oak integration. One of the best that I tasted at the i4C celebration in Niagara in July 2019."
