Wild ferment, whole cluster & unfiltered. This Pinot has aromas of red fruit and baking spice. Fresh cherry on the palate with dark berry, vanilla and caramel accents on the finish. Medium bodied with pleasant tannins and a long finish. 23 months in French oak. Cellar until 2021 or enjoy now.
"This was naturally fermented then aged 23 months in oak, which is a long time for pinot. It has imparted an elegant, creamy texture, but brings a slightly resinous note to the nose and finish. The complex nose also shows ripe cherry, florals and some vanillin. It is medium weight quite plush and warm and the length is excellent. Tasted March 2020"
