2020 Vintage Pack

All of our 2020 vintage Chardonnays have been sold out for some time now at Westcott. They have received plenty of International acclaim, including Platinum and Gold Awards, scores across the board above 90 and some reaching to 96. Our loyal customers know how special and limited these wines are. They have had more time in bottle to evolve and are just getting better (in my opinion…Carolyn here!) 

We have paired them in this special package of four wines with the Estate and Reserve Pinot Noir from the same vintage.  Both Chardonnays were barrel fermented and aged in the barrel for a year and have now been in bottle for two years. The Pinot Noirs were fermented in large oak fermenters, 1/3 whole cluster ferment, wild yeast across the board.  Barrel aged for two years and have been resting in bottle for one year.

Both wines are drinking very well right now – but the Reserve in particular will reward you for your patience if you cellar it for another year or more. Or if you really want to enjoy it now – aerate it and/or give it a moment or two to open up in the glass. This would make a great gift for the chardonnay or pinot noir lover in your life. Or surprise the picky family member that only drinks European wines!
